Leonard H. Ginsburg, M.D.

Dr. Leonard Ginsburg Dr. Leonard Ginsburg is Chairman of Moore Eye Institute, Chairman of the Ophthalmology Residency Program at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and former Clinical Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at Drexel University College of Medicine. For more than 20 years, he was one of the only retina specialists in the United States also to be certified as a Diabetes Educator.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ginsburg has been involved in many research projects, authored numerous articles, and has been instrumental in introducing several innovative technologies. Dr. Ginsburg is well known for his work in diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and the links between religion and medicine, often speaking and writing on these topics domestically and abroad. Nancy Crawford, M.D.

Dr. Nancy Crawford Dr. Nancy Crawford is a board certified glaucoma specialist and Director of the Anterior Segment Division at Moore Eye. From 2015 to 2019, she served as Ophthalmology Residency Program Director at Drexel University College of Medicine. In 2009, Consumer Research Council of America chose her as one of “America’s Top Ophthalmologists.” Throughout her career, Dr. Crawford has performed more than 10,000 eye surgeries and has studied at some of the finest institutions in the world. Additionally, Dr. Crawford headed Moore’s Anterior Segment Division when it introduced groundbreaking technology to Pennsylvania, including the OCT. See Full Bio

Anita Nevyas-Wallace M.D.

Dr. Anita Nevyas-Wallace Dr. Anita Nevyas-Wallace is a board certified and fellowship trained anterior segment specialist with expertise in cataract, LASIK, and refractive surgery. An innovator in the field of refractive surgery, she holds multiple patents for instrumentation she designed to make refractive procedures safer and more precise. In 2012, she was recognized by the American Academy of Ophthalmology for her contributions to ophthalmology and scientific and educational programs with their prestigious Achievement Award. An Vo, M.D.
An Vo, M.D., is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, cataract, and anterior segment surgery. She is a Philadelphia native and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Vo earned her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College and completed her ophthalmology residency as Chief Resident at New York Medical College/Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. She is fellowship trained in cornea, refractive, and external diseases at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she was involved in active clinical trials and resident teaching. Dr. Vo specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of corneal diseases with a special interest in dry eye, blepharitis, and ocular surface disease. See Full Bio

Kenneth Heist, D.O.

Dr. Kenneth Heist Dr. Kenneth Heist is one of the few physicians in the United States dually board-certified in family medicine and ophthalmology. He is experienced in comprehensive ophthalmology and specializes in cataracts and corneal disease. Dr. Heist graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he also completed both medical residencies. He completed his internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Heist spent 15 years in private practice before becoming Director of the Ophthalmology Residency Program at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Shyam Kodati, M.D., F.R.C.S., FRCOphth

Dr. Shyam Kodati Dr. Shyam Kodati is a fellowship-trained medical retina and uveitis specialist with expertise in macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular disease. Internationally acclaimed for deep clinical acumen, an avidity for teaching young physicians, and excellent patient rapport, Dr. Kodati lectures widely on the latest developments in the management of diabetic retinopathy. In 2005, he was selected to deliver the keynote Siva Reddy Memorial Gold Medal Oration address at a symposium in honor of India’s most esteemed cataract surgeon.

Dr. Kodati established important medical retina and uveitis services for three separate hospitals in the United Kingdom. He completed fellowship training in ocular oncology at Princess Margaret Hospital, University of Toronto and ophthalmology residencies at Kent County Ophthalmic Hospital and Kings College Hospital in the U.K. He completed his internship at Osmania General Hospital and earned his medical degree at Osmania Medical College in India. Joshua N. Steiner, M.D.

Joshua N. Steiner, M.D. Dr. Joshua Steiner is a board-certified and fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon with expertise in macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, and retinal tears and detachments. For more than a decade, Dr. Steiner was an attending surgeon at the renowned National Retina Institute. In more recent years, he served as Vitreoretinal Fellowship Director where he trained medical and surgical fellows. Dr. Steiner completed his vitreoretinal fellowship training at the National Retina Institute and earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine. See Full Bio

Kelly Williamson, M.D.

Dr. Kelly Williamson Dr. Kelly Williamson is a board certified comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and the treatment of glaucoma and dry eye disease. Prior to joining Moore Eye Institute, she served as Residency Program Director for the Department of Ophthalmology at Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Williamson earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the University of Notre Dame. See Full Bio

Georgia Crozier, O.D., M.S.

Dr. Georgia Crozier Dr. Georgia Crozier is a low vision specialist and the Chief Medical Officer of Moore’s Low Vision Center. She was the first optometrist selected by the federal government to receive a Masters of Science in Vision Rehabilitation. Dr. Crozier has lectured extensively and is a facilitator for low vision support groups. She is Pennsylvania’s primary consultant for visually impaired students and the Veterans Administration’s primary consultant for visually impaired, homebound veterans. See Full Bio

Richard Brilliant, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Georgia Crozier Dr. Richard Brilliant, Emeritus Director of the Vision Rehabilitation Center at Moore Eye Institute, is recognized as one of the world’s finest low vision specialists. An avid innovator, he has designed and developed hundreds of the best low vision devices. For nearly thirty years, Dr. Brilliant has been involved in clinical investigations for low vision manufacturers. In addition to lecturing throughout the world, he published countless articles and authored a popular optometry textbook. Dr. Brilliant is also the only optometrist on the Board of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
