Blindness as a result of diabetes is preventable, but early diagnosis is crucial. Eye complications stemming from diabetes are common. If left untreated, these diabetic eye conditions can lead to deterioration of vision and ultimately, blindness. If you have diabetes, do not wait until your vision has deteriorated to have an eye exam. Annual examinations are the first step in preserving your precious vision.
