Kenneth Heist, D.O.
Dr. Kenneth Heist is one of the few physicians in the United States dually board-certified in family medicine and ophthalmology. He is experienced in comprehensive ophthalmology and specializes in cataracts and corneal disease. Dr. Heist graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he also completed both medical residencies. He completed his internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Dr. Heist spent 15 years in private practice before becoming Director of the Ophthalmology Residency Program at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a proficient diagnostician and leader in the holistic approach and serves as Director of Residency Education at Moore Eye Institute.
