Nevyas Eye Associates Merges With Moore Eye Institute

Moore Eye Institute has been honored to provide advanced ophthalmic and surgical services to patients with some of the Delaware Valley region’s toughest clinical cases since its inception in 1990. We are pleased to announce our merger with the eminent Nevyas Eye Associates, trailblazers in cataract, LASIK, and refractive surgery since 1964. Together, we offer a combined team of 12 physicians and surgeons of nearly every subspecialty of the eye.

On May 25, 2021, we are opening new state-of-the-art facilities at the premier Lankenau Medical Center where we will see patients five days a week. A pillar of care since 1860, Lankenau’s reputation for excellence is reinforced by its continued regional and national recognition – again this year as one of the top 5 hospitals out of 100 in the Philadelphia region. To schedule an appointment at Lankenau, kindly call us at 610-668-2777 or click here to request an appointment.

Nevyas Eye Associates has been dedicated to providing the most advanced medical, laser, and surgical eye care to help patients achieve their best possible eye health and vision. Nevyas holds 11 patents for instrumentation designed to make refractive procedures safer and more precise. Eye doctors throughout the Delaware Valley have turned to Nevyas to care for their patients; also for themselves and their own family members. They are often referred to as “the doctor’s doctor.”

Moore Eye Institute’s fellowship trained retina and glaucoma surgeons introduced some of the most important eye diagnostic tests in Pennsylvania, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), the most important test for diabetic macular edema, age-related macular degeneration and glaucoma. Moore is one of the first three practices in Pennsylvania to introduce perfluorocarbon in vitrectomy for patients with severe proliferative diabetic retinopathy and one of the first two practices in America to treat wet macular degeneration with laser in polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy. They were the first practice to serve as a beta site for Dynamic Health Records/DHRpro, now released throughout America. This is a new, patented technology that could change the way doctors interface with electronic medical records and their patients. This technology allows doctors to spend less time with the computer and more with the patient.

The association of Nevyas with Moore creates one of the largest and best-equipped practices available in the Delaware Valley for multispecialty eye care. Preserving your eyes and health is our passion!
